What to expect
We understand that the decision to visit a new church can be nerve-racking, so here's what you can expect during your visit to Rogue Valley Christian Church.
There is no dress code here. Your presence is more important to us than your presentation. Most people wear jeans or shorts; some wear suits or dresses. If you're comfortable, it's just fine.
When you enter the church building, you will be greeted by a greeter (or an enthusiastic church attender). You're welcome to grab a cup of coffee and say hello to people, or head right into the sanctuary and find a seat.
We begin each service with a time of worship, followed by a Bible-based teaching. After the message, we sing a few more songs. We take communion weekly at RVCC, with time set aside during our worship to take the communion elements.
If you have a prayer request or need, we invite you to fill out a connect card (located in the back of the chairs in the sanctuary, or online under the "contact" tab), or join us after each service in the community care space. There you will find people available to pray with you or talk with you.
If you're dropping off kids, the kids' lobby is located at the middle of the hallway. In the middle of the lobby is a check-in counter, and that's where you will register your child for kids' church. Volunteers are available to answer any questions you have about the check-in/check-out process.
We're excited to see you! If you have any questions, please contact Denise in the church office at denise@rvchristian.com or (541) 773-3144.
